Mission Statement
Caring for Those in Need
- To facilitate the provision within NZ of low cost, affordable and quality healthcare and dental care to primarily low income people.
- To promote community health among all persons, particularly low income persons and persons in high financial need within New Zealand.
- To provide within NZ advice and assistance and support to people in financial need, including refugees, migrants, unemployed people, redundant workers, beneficiaries and other persons on low income: through the provision of such additional services as deemed desirable by the Board of Trustees including (but not restricted to) advocacy and affordable housing.
- To set up, operate and maintain premises for organizations in areas of healthcare education, the relief of unemployed people, beneficiaries and low income people, and the provision of the services described in points 1-3 above;
- To raise funds and accept monies consistent with furthering the maintenance and expansion of the Trust and ensure its charitable objectives.
- To enter into arrangements with other organisations and trusts that are beneficial to the membership of the Trust and can directly or indirectly help the trust advance its charitable objectives including mergers and joint ventures.
- To do all such charitable, matters and things as in the opinion of the board of Trustees may be incidental or conductive to the furtherance of the foregoing objectives.
