Why get the Flu Vaccine?

• It now protects against the Swine Flu (H1N1 virus)
• 1 in 5 people get the Flu each year, it’s very easily spread
• Some people, such as older people, young children, and people with certain medical conditions, are at a high risk of developing serious complications from influenza
• 400 deaths each year in NZ are related to influenza infection
